I’m planning a short trip to Akaroa in the first half of January, which is the main season for tourism here in NZ. Is it very busy up there right now, or can I hope to just walk into any restaurant and get a table, and do harbour tours and see the dolphins and stuff, or would I be better off getting out the credit card and start reserving stuff right now?
