Where in New Zealand would be the best to go for a week of adventure sports?

aflumpire asked:

Im an Aussie…and when im a little older, im thinking about having just a full on week of adventure somehwere in New Zealand…around November-February.

Im talking about Bungee Jumping, White Water Rafting, Zorbing (that ride in the big ball), Mountain Biking, Jetboating…that kind of thing.

so even though I probably cant do this for at least another couple of years, where would be the best place in NZ to do this kind of thing? If I can, I would like to keep it to one region and somehwere that is nice and cheep too (or cheap as possible).

Studying abroad in New Zealand. Which is the better school location?

new zealand bungee
kdrush0628 asked:

I have decided 100% on NZ, but I just cant decide which school to go to. I am deciding based on location because I am going there basically for traveling. I am really interested in the outdoors and the scenery. I am not necessarily going to do the adventurous sky diving and bungee jumping type things but I do want to be able to have the oppertunity to be able to do these things. I really really really want to see the scenery though. I know the south island has more to offer when it comes to scenery, but I am a little reluctant because I would rather have the warmer weather of the north island. I really love the beach and would love to have one close by. I would really like to be somewhere with a night life too, somewhere where I would not have to travel a lot to go out at night. (I’m demanding, I know haha)
My choices of places are Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
PLEASE HELP!

How busy is Akaroa, New Zealand, in early January?

new zealand tourism
Tahini Raving Weirdo asked:

I’m planning a short trip to Akaroa in the first half of January, which is the main season for tourism here in NZ. Is it very busy up there right now, or can I hope to just walk into any restaurant and get a table, and do harbour tours and see the dolphins and stuff, or would I be better off getting out the credit card and start reserving stuff right now?
